The foreign forces should withdraw from the island as a first step in order to provide mutual confidence between the two sides. The status quo on the island is unacceptable. The Cyprus problem has been in deadlock for a long time. The solution should contain the elements of single sovereignty, international identity and single citizenship. There should be two equal nations on the island and a federation with two nations and two regions will be established''.
