KOFI ANNAN ON 3 NOVEMBER 1995 The Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations to the Former Yugoslavia, and Special Envoy to NATO, Mr. Kofi Annan, accompanied by Lt.Gen. Bernard Janvier, Commander United Nations Peace Forces in Former Yugoslavia, will come to NATO Headquarters on 3 November 1995 to meet with the Acting Secretary General, the Permanent Representatives to the North Atlantic Council, as well as NATO officials. The visit will begin at approximately 09:00 and their departure is expected at + 14:00. MEDIA ADVISORY (not for publication) PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT + 09:00 NATO Main Entrance: arrival of Mr. Kofi Annan. Open coverage on a first-come, first-served basis. 09:30 Meeting with Assistant Secretary General, Mr. Anthony Cragg, and other NATO civil and military officials. No coverage. 10:30 Bilateral with the Acting Secretary General. In view of the limited space available, only a restricted pool will be authorized to cover the beginning of the meeting. 11:00 Room 1: Meeting with the North Atlantic Council. Coverage of the first 3 minutes of the meeting by a restricted pool. + 12:30 Luncheon hosted by the Acting Secretary General. No coverage. + 14:00 NATO Main Entrance: meeting with the press.
