Majority of traders believe the market will remain so for another week. Chipita appeared as the 3rd largest turnover issue with 163 mil drs. Ideal Refract, Globe, Kosmos were top 3 active in volume. -Forex Fixing: usd=226.940, dem=162.432 -Athibor 1mo: 15.47% -Finance Ministry's first auction of State debt totalled 400 bil drs from original plan of 250 bil drs. Average yields were 3yr FRN=16.710, 5yr FRN=17.238, and 7yr FRN=17.685. These rates were almost 26-31 bps down from the previous T-Notes offer on May 31. -State telecom OTE will go ahead with its plan for 8 % floatation on the Athens stock exchange. -Merril Lynch annnounced today's purchase of Comm Bk shares(1.2 mil shares) yesterday. It was USD 50 mil one shot deal (This is roughly 3 times of ASE daily avarage turnover!). Goldenbull
