Position in Computer Engineering at U. of NicosiaJob Opportunities Directory - Previous Article - Next ArticleFrom: "HR-Net News Distribution Manager" <dist@hri.org>UNIVERSITY OF NICOSIA Department of Engineering TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION The Department of Engineering at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Lecturer, Assistant or Associate Professor in Computer Engineering, preferably in the areas of VLSI Systems and Design, Computer Architecture, and Embedded Systems. Candidates should have an earned doctorate degree (or be close to its completion), demonstrated record of accomplishment in at least one of these areas and strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate courses, developing new courses, applying for research grants, carrying out research, and publishing in academic journals. The appointment will begin in the Spring semester of 2009. The Department offers undergraduate programs in Computer and Electronics Engineering and intends to establish a Master's program in Electronics & Computer Engineering with at least three concentrations.
