POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

The Department of Physics has an opening for a research position at the post-doctoral level in the field of computational biophysics. The position is sponsored by the University of Cyprus grant: Repair of UV-damaged DNA by DNA photolyase: Insights from Molecular Dynamics Simulations and Electron Transfer Calculations.

The methods will include molecular dynamics, Poisson-Boltzmann and electron-transfer matrix element calculations (software CHARMM, UHBD, GAUSSIAN and MOPAC).

The duration of the grant is up to three years and the contract is signed on a yearly basis.
