The Department of Informatics (http://www.cs.aueb.gr), is seeking excellent candidates for a tenure-track position in areas related to:

Programming Languages and Environments putting emphasis on Visual programming, Web programming or Interface programming

The position is at the Lecturer or Assistant Professor lever.

We are looking for applicants with a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and strong research credentials as evidenced by scholarly publications. Candidates working on multidisciplinary research rooted in the above core areas are specially encouraged to apply.

The Department has a strong presence in several research areas including networking, distributed systems, multimedia computing, data analysis, database and information systems.
