School of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering
The University of Birmingham, UK.

An research (PhD) studentship is available, entitled "On-Board Fuel Reforming of Bio-Diesel Mixtures", in collaboration with Johnson Matthey plc. The engine manufacturer, Lister-Petter Ltd is also participating in the project.

The project has a duration of three years, leading to a PhD degree. The studentship includes tuition fees at UK/EU rate and maintenance of 3000 pa (tax free) for EU citizens. The maintenance for UK citizens is 9800 p.a. (tax free). The successful candidate will also have the option to assist in laboratory and tutorial teaching and earn approximately an additional 1000 pa.
