The newly created DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS invites Greek nationals intrested in a permanent or visiting post in the department's academic staff to contact us by e-mail. Please include the following in your message

* your areas of specialization and competence (subareas of the following broad areas) 1.Programming Languages - Software Engineering 2.Computer Engineering - Information Technology 3.Foundations of Computation 4.Artificial Intelligence - Intelligent Agents 5.Networking - Telecommunications with indication of the courses offered by the department you would be interested in teaching. Details on courses and the department's profile are available in Greek at the department's home page http://www.teilar.gr/csdept-gr.html.

* the type of post of your interest (Professor, Assistant Professor, Laboratory Instructor, Visiting Academic Staff), depending on qualifications

* a brief cv with information on studies and degrees, publications, citations to your published work, teaching, research and other professional experience

The department will admit its first students for the Fall semester 1999. We expect to have five permanent academic staff posts, to be filled by March 2000. Visiting/Contract staff will be employed already for the Fall '99 term.
