Hellenic Public radio/COSMOS FM on WNYE 91.5 in New York City is searching for a Director of Programming.

Candidates should have at least a BA or BS from an accredited university and extensive experience in journalism.

The candidate must have a good understanding of Greece as well as the Greek American community in NY, with the ability to go on air in both Greek and English.

The candidate should have proven experience in managing people, strong problem solving skills, and a knack for technology (as the candidate will be expected to learn off-line sound editing and to learn to operate the console). This is a unique opportunity for a trained journalist to exercise his/her craft away from special interests or commercial trappings.
