One opening for postgraduate studies leading to a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Eng. at the Pennsylvania State University, is currently available. The position comes with full financial support, and is available now or in the begining of the summer.

The research would focus on Computer Modeling studies of polymers. These studies would involve classical Molecular Dynamics and Monte Carlo methods and will address materials properties of polymer composite materials. Required background in Statistical Mechanics and Statistical Mechanics; some experience in computer programming (FORTRAN and/or C) would be an advantage.
