Chemical Engineering Department

Applications and nominations are requested for one or more faculty positions in the Chemical Engineering Department at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Appointment at all ranks commensurate with the applicants credentials will be considered. A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field is required with research expertise in one of the fundamental areas of kinetics, thermodynamics, transport phenomena or chemical processing that complements or extends existing departmental strengths. Desirable areas of research application include (but not exclusively) environmental engineering (including pollution prevention and chemical recovery/recycle), advanced materials, process design and optimization, control, separations, biomedical and biochemical engineering. Excellence in teaching and a commitment to Departmental service are expected of successful applicants.
