POST-DOCTORAL POSITION

The Group announces a post-doctoral position available for research on
# Multiprocessor Synchronization #
# and Concurrency issues #
# (Operating system level and #
# real-time aspects of these #
# issues) #

The position is available now (the successful applicant can start on a mutually agreeable date soon and will be joining a project supported by the Swedish Research Council for Engineering Sciences); the duration is one plus one year.

The Department announces a number of 5-year Scholarships for students that would like to do their PhD at the department.

The Scholarships are available beginning of the next academic year (1998/99) and their duration is 5 years.

The computing facilities available at the department (besides "standard" equipment, it also offers a Silicon Graphics Origin 2000 (64 processor machine) and a new 64 processor SUN Ultra Enterprise 10000, popularly known as Starfire machine) offer excellent ground for this research.

  • any scientific papers you have written.

Both English and Swedish are used as working languages in our department. As an English speaker, you will have no difficulty at work and almost no difficulty in ordinary every-day communication.
