Programme of Opening a Career in Research Centres and Universities of Greece

The Greek General Secretary for Research and Technology (GSRT) declared the Programme of Opening a Career in Research Centres and Universities of Greece. This Programme addresses Greek-speaking researchers working now abroad and is supported by Greek and EU sources. The special aim of the Programme is to attract high-level greek-speeking researchers working in other countries and offer them the opportunity to cooperate with greek scientists for three years in departments of Research Centres and Universities. This cooperation is expected to contribute to information, knowledge and know-how transfer, as recards issues of critical importance for Research and Development.

The main scientific fields of interest are the following:

• Environment and Quality of Life
• Bio-Sciences
• Information Technologies
• New Materials and Methods of Production and Processing
• Civilization, Society, Technology

The Department of Industrial Management of University of Piraeus calls all scientists who are properly qualified (according to the Announcement of GSRT) to contact with the Secretary of the Department (80 Karaoli & Dimitriou Str., 185 34 Piraeus, Greece, tel. +301-4117947 +301-4120751-5, fax. +301-4179064) and submit a curriculm vitae not later than 25th October 1997.
