BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION-UNDERGRADUATE:

The American University in Bulgaria invites applications for full-time faculty positions in Business Law and Marketing. Starting date for these positions is August 1997. These are normally two-year, renewable positions but applications for one-year, single-semester, and sabbatical appointments will be considered.

All qualified candidates will be considered, but candidates with appropriate terminal degrees are highly preferred. Teaching experience is required. Responsibilities include teaching both introductory and advanced courses, student advising, research and publication, and service to the faculty and institution.

The American University in Bulgaria is a four-year undergraduate institution which attracts many top students from Central and Eastern Europe and a variety of countries outside the region. The language of instruction is English. The school is located in Blagoevgrad, a provincial city of 80,000, about 110 kilometers north of Serres and 100 kilometers south of Sofia.

Applications should include a cover letter, cv (including e-mail address if available), three letters of reference, and evidence of teaching excellence.
