INVITATION FOR POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWS (AND PH.D. GRADUATE STUDENTS)

ENGINEERING - AGRICULTURE - PHYSICS

A well established EU-Research Network on greenhouse design (functional and structural aspects and testing methods of covering materials) is seeking for post-doctoral fellows (and possibly Ph.D. graduate students).

The work to be carried out within the Network concerns basic research and covers among others, the following topics for which candidates are sought:

* physical/mechanical properties of covering materials for greenhouses; * structural behaviour of greenhouses; causes and modes of failure; * finite element analysis of greenhouse structures; * loading of greenhouse structures; Eurocodes 1 and 3 for the design of greenhouse structures
