The awards are intended for those having graduated or graduating in the 1995-96 academic year from one of the 4 Montreal-area universities and have at least one parent of Greek origin. The award not only recognizes academic achievement but extra-curricular activities and contributions to the community at large.

There will be at least 3 awards of $1000 each and a number of other awards as well.

The awards dinner will also be an opportunity for members of the business community and graduates to meet. The keynote speaker at the dinner will be former Massachusetts Governor and Presidential hopeful MICHAEL S. DUKAKIS.
