Administrative Assistant

The American Hellenic Institute is looking for a mature, bright, and responsible individual who is willing to learn quickly and become a vital part of our organization. This entry-level position is suitable for a recent college graduate.

Duties would include, but would not be limited to- Financial accounts management and bookeeping, membership processing and maintenance, and general office administration. This position offers an opportunity to gain first hand experience in the operations of an established and respected institution.

Experience with computer operations and software is essential. Knowledge of general accounting principals is important. Computer skills should include a working knowledge of Microsoft ACCESS, Microsoft EXCEL, and Microsoft WORD. However, general ability in any database, spreadsheet, or word processing application is acceptable. Familiarity with the Greek language would be helpful.
