POSITION AVAILABLE: Research Director in Microelectronics in Greece

There exists an opening for the position of Director of the Institute of Microelectronics at the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos" in the greater Athens area of Greece.

Interested candidates must have extensive experience in research, proven by the quality and quantity of publications, and administration in the field of Microelectronics. The director participates, as a voting member, in the nine-member body of the governing board of "Demokritos". The governing board body is made up by the eight Institute directors and the director of the research center.

The Institute of Microelectronics has a highly qualified staff of twenty three scientists - twelve permanent, nine on contract and two post docs - fifteen PhD candidates and eight skilled technical and administrative personnel. It has a pilot line that offers services in highly specialized IC's, sensors, detectors etc. It performs quality research in silicon wafer processing and devices.

Candidacies must arrive at the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos", P.O. Box 60228, 15310 Aghia Paraskevi, Athens, GREECE by April 18, 1996 and be accompanied by an application and a CV in five copies.
