AHEPA PUBLISHES UPDATED GREEK AMERICAN ISSUES CONGRESSIONAL REPORT CARD ON WORLD WIDE WEB

Washington, DC, Nov. 3

The largest Greek American group has updated its latest "Congressional Report Card" monitoring votes of concern to the Greek American community, and has placed that information on the World Wide Web.

The "AHEPA Congressional Report Card" is located at www.ahepa.org/reportcard, and is designed to educate the more than 1.5 million Greek Americans who are among the most educated and successful constituencies in the United States. The over 600 pages of information is easily navigable by alphabetical, state, or grade-standing order. Each Senator and Representative's grade in the AHEPA Congressional Report Card is based on voting, cosponsorship and other initiatives from the 105th and 104th Congresses.

For information on Greek American issues and on the Congressional Report Card, contact George Savidis at: ahepa@ix.netcom.com or 202.232.6300. The site has been created by the AHEPA Office of Public Affairs and the award winning design firm of Orama, Inc. of Rosslyn, Va. (www.orama.com). The AHEPA site is hosted by the Hellenic Resources Network (www.hri.org) of Cambridge, Mass.

AHEPA - the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association - is the largest Greek American organization. The AHEPA Family, founded in 1922, now has over 700 chapters across the United States.
