Boston, May 13: Lecture on Modern Greek EngineersPublic Events Directory - Previous Article - Next ArticleFrom: "HR-Net News Distribution Manager" <dist@hri.org>The Constantine Karamanlis Chair in Hellenic and Southeastern European Studies at Tufts University is pleased to invite you to the following event: The Modern Greek Engineers and their National Modernization Dreams A discussion around Mr. Yiannis Antoniou's Research on the history of the Greek Engineers and of their Institutions. Mr. Antoniou's presentation will focus on the ideological debate in the Greek Engineering milieu during the thirties and the forties that paved the way to Constantine Karamanlis' "Greek Miracle" of the fifties and the sixties. Before the general discussion, Professor Elias Gyftopoulos will comment on the new findings from the perspective of his personal experiences.
