The Maliotis Cultural Center and the Consulate General of Greece in Boston Present

Opening Reception for the Artist Maliotis Cultural Center Sunday, March 18, 2001 4:00 - 7:00 PM

Easter in the Aegean consists of four separate series: "Weekend in Mykonos,"  "Post Cards,"  "Petrina," and "A Touch of Roses."  Some of the works in these series appeared in an exhibition at the Consulate General of Greece in New York, May 2000.  A section of "Weekend in Mykonos" measuring 4' X 200' was on display in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City during the summer of 2000.  Apostolos Tsoris was born in Agrino, Greece and studied in Piraeus.  He was a fashion designer for 20 years and now lives and works in New York City.
