Daughter of the former Prime Minister of Greece Constantine Mitsotakis, Mrs. Bakoyanni is recognized in her own right as one of Greece's most dynamic women in politics. She has been awarded the Leadership Prize by the International Women's Centre, and the Fontana di Roma Prize as an outstanding personality in the field of culture. In Parliament, she serves on the Committees on Cultural and Educational Affairs, Defence and Foreign Affairs, and on European Affairs, and of the Constitutional Review Committee.
