On Wednesday, October 28, 1998 at 7:00pm at the Royalty House of Warren, the American Hellenic Congress with the support of the Hellenic Somatia of Michigan Present in celebration of the October 28th Greek Ethnic Holiday in concert, Petro Gaitanos. The highly acclaimed versatile singer of laika, dimotika, nysiotika, and Byzantine Chant will be accompanied by his 15 piece orchestra, as well as the well known Bouzouki soloist, Dimitris Hionias. He will be complemented with the singers Nadia Karagianne and Stella Karyda. There will be a short program of ethnic celebration preceding the concert. Dancing will immediately follow the concert. Ticket prices are $100, $50, $30. Youth tickets are $20 after 10:00pm. Children wearing ethnic costumes will be admitted free. Net proceeds will be donated to the Foundation for Modern Greek Studies.
