The Hellenic University Club of New York and The Alexander S. Onassis
Program in Hellenic Studies at New York University invite you to a reading
and discussion with poet and novelist CATHERINE TEMMA DAVIDSON on
Wednesday, May 20th, at 6.30 p.m., at the Onassis Center for Hellenic
Studies, 58 West 10th Street, NY, NY 10011.
Ms. Davidson has just published her first novel "The Priest Fainted" with
Henry Holt and Company; she has won numerous awards for her poetry,
including the Dorothy Daniels Award from PEN and first prize at the Los
Angeles Poetry Festival.
"Using her imagination and the stories passed through her bones as
ingredients, Catherine Temma Davidson blends memories, Greek myths,
recipes, and family gossip to uncover a hidden history--the story of one
woman's year in Greece as it crosses and doubles back over the lives of
her mother and grandmother."
Free and open to the public. All welcome.
