The Glory of Byzantium
The Greek Institute invites you on a day trip to the Metropolitan Museum
of Art in New York City to view The Glory of Byzantium a major exhibition
with more than 350 works of Byzantine art created between the 9th and the
mid-13th centuries, including manuscripts, mosaics, frescoes, ivories,
enamels, silks, stone carvings, gems, glass, ceramics, objects of silver
and gold
SATURDAY, MAY 17
cost $35 (includes transportation by motor coach and museum admission
fee), departing Cambridge at 7:45am, arriving for lunch at the museum at
12:30pm, seeing the exhibit, browsing in the museum gift shop, leaving
5:00pm and returning to Cambridge at 9:30pm. For more information and to
