The Introduction and Incorporation of the Sciences in the process of modernization, family operations , popular culture and Architecture. b. The development of Athens from the Ottoman city to the Modern Greek Capital. Neni Panourgia received her Ph.D in Anthropology from Indiana University. She is a visiting fellow at the Hellenic Studies Program at Princeton and the Foundation for Hellenic Culture in New York City. Dr. Panourgia also taught M. Greek Culture and Literature at Indiana and at Columbia University. She has specialized in anthropology of urban settings and national national ideology and she has published widely.
