Spring 1997 Schedule: Elementary M.Greek Tuesdays,6-8 pm This course is designed for those with no or little previous exposure to the Greek Language.Basic reading, listening and grammar skills are emphasized. Interm. M.Greek:Thursdays 5:45-7:45 pm This course is for the student with an elementary knowledge of Greek. The course further develops grammar, conversation and writing skills. Vocabulary and listening comprehension are also emphasized. Advanced M.Greek:Thursday 7:45-10:45pm This course is especially designed to refine the speaking and comprehension skills of the intermediate student through conversation in casual/formal settings and readings from Greek newspapers and magazines. Special attention is paid to writing and the use of complex structures/expressions. Classes begin from March 11th-13th and include 14 weekly sessions.
