SOCIAL SECURITY SEMINAR
Organized by the HELLENIC ACADEMIC SOCIETY (HAS)
This informational seminar is given by the Social Security Administration
Office in Atlanta and it will cover:
- Social Security Overview (including Medicare/Medicaid)
- Retirement Benefits
- Disability Benefits
- Recent Agreement between the governments of the USA and Greece regarding
benefit transfers between the two countries
- Elderly persons (non US citizens) living in the USA
- Students and Social Security
- Answers to questions from the audience (a number of representatives from
the Social Security Office will be available to answer specific questions)
