The George Seferis Chair of Modern Greek Studies at Harvard University invites you to an illustrated lecture by anthropologist Professor Jill Dubisch (Northern Arizona University) titled "Icons, Saints, Pilgrims: Creating a Modern Greek identity," on TUESDAY 14th NOVEMBER at 4 P.M at the Center for Literary and Cultural Studies, 61 Kirkland Street, Cambridge. The talk will draw from Professor Dubisch's recently published book "In a Different Place"(Princeton University Press,1995) which presents her research work from the island of Tinos.
