"The Greeks in the Black Sea"

Dr. Fossey is Professor of Art History at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He is responsible for the research and teaching programms in Classical Archaeology there. Before he immigrated to Canada from his native Britain he taught at the Univ. of Birmingham. He holds a Hons. B.A. in Classics from the Univ. of Birmingham, Great Britain and a Doctorate in Greek Archaeology from Univ. of Lyon, France. He has been directly involved with excavations in Greece and in the Black sea and Caucasian regions. He is the Director General of the Institute of Hellenic Studies and Archaeology in Montreal and the Vice-President of the International Center of the Hellenic Diaspora.
