Clarus Advisory Services are assisting in the promotion and registration of the Mycenaean Civilisation Summer Program 2006, to be held in Greece in June - August 2006. Information is as follows:

The European Studies & Humanitarian Organization 'Ioannis Capodistrias' Centre of Mycenaean Studies, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and the UNESCO National Council of clubs and centres is proud to present the 2006 Crete-Mycenaean Civilization Summer Program in Greece [for international participants]. All students and individuals interested in Creto - Mycenaean history, Ancient Greek archaeology, history, art and culture are encouraged to attend.

The Summer program which will run for the second year gives international participants the unique opportunity to experience the culture of Greece through guided field trips to notable areas of the Creto - Mycenaean World. The program takes place in Crete and the Peloponnese and will be a fascinating 'hands on' look at the Crete-Mycenaean civilization and the Greek world between the 16th and 12th centuries. Seminars will cover studies and research of the Creto-Mycenaean civilization: history, archaeology, arts, language, socialization and religion. This years lecturers include:

- Registered Archaeologists from each region who are responsible for the archaeological sites that are included in the program

- Special Scientists from the Greek Ministry of Culture

- Skarlat Arion [Archaeologist]

- Alfonso Martinez Diez [Archaeologist - Spain]

... and others. All lectures will be held in English.

The program will take place over 2 weeks on the following dates:

- 16 - 29 June 2006

- 05 - 18 July 2006

- 22 July - 4 August 2006
