Time has come to plan and register for the 10th International Conference on Flavors and Food Chemistry (the 2nd George Charalambous Memorial symposium) to be held 4-7 July 2000 on the Island of Paros, Greece. This has historically been a professionally stimulating technical meeting where one can interact with world's experts in the field of flavors and food chemistry.

Paros is the 3rd largest of the Greek Cyclades Islands after Andros and Naxos and is located about 96 miles southeast of Athens. The meeting will be held at the PORTO PAROS HOTEL, a 4-star establishment, situated in the Gulf of Naoussa, along the famous coastline of Kolymbithress, directly opposite the picturesque fishing village of Naoussa, well known in Europe. There is majestic scenery for a relaxed scientific meeting under the sun.

ROOM RESERVATIONS in the form of a one night deposit to confirm your reservation must be received by Zorbas Summer by 1 May 2000. Please plan to arrive at the hotel on Monday 3 July 2000. Please reserve your accommodations as soon as possible informing the hotel through Zorbas Summer of any additional dates of residence with Athina Papavassiliou at Zorbas Summer. Their e-mail address is zorbas.summer@galileo.gr.

There will be three exciting optional tours planned for the attendees. They are: Paros Island tour on 6 July 2000; tour of Santorini Island on 8 July; and the Mykonos and Delos Islands tour on 9 July. Contact Zorbas Summer to make reservations for any or all of these tours.
