This is a continuation of a series of meetings started at Greek Universities in 1987 (Patras 1987, Samos 1988, 1989, 1990, Irakleio 1992, Patras 1993, Xanthi 1994 and 1995, and Patras 1996).

Non Greek speaking scientists and students occasionally participate largely at their own expense, due to the limited funding available only from Greek sources. Most contributions and lectures are given in Greek.

SUBJECTS:

Theory of Nonlinear Dynamical Systems, Ergodic Theory of Chaos, Chaotic Dynamics, Analysis and Prediction of Chaotic Time Series, Fractal Geometry, Applications of Fractals, Solitons and Integrability, Turbulence and Vortex Dynamics, Complexity Theory, Artificial Life, Cellular Automata, Genetic Algorithms, Evolutionary Programming, Neural Networks, Applications in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, Economical and Social Sciences.
