[01] ANCIENT VESSEL FROM AUSTRALIA TO GREECE

The National Centre for Greek Studies and Research of La Trobe
University will exhibit the ancient Greek vessel of the 5th century BC,
which was recently obtained by the Greek Parliament, while immediately
after its exhibition it will be transferred to Greece. The rare peace
of Greek cultural heritage belongs to the collection of an Australian,
who auctioned it in Melbourne. The Greek Parliament participated in the
auction with the Greek Consul General to Australia, D. Anninos, and
acquired the vessel at the price of 3,135 euro.
