A number of cultural events are expected to be promoted within this framework such as a Greek Cinema Week in Tirana, theater performances and a special event in the city of Koritsa dedicated to Greek Nobel prize winner poet Giorgos Seferis. [09] NEW TENSION IN KOSOVOWeb Posted: 14:15 GMT+2Belgrade, 16/01/1999 (MPA) Tension erupted again in Kosovo. Fifteen ethnic Albanian rebels were killed in clashes between the Yugoslav forces and the Kosovo Liberation Army at the village of Racak.Meanwhile, two members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, which oversees the uneasy truce in the Serb province, were injured from gunfire. Albanian prime minister Panteli Majko expressed fears that the crisis in Kosovo can spread to neighbouring countries.
