Addressing a Money Show conference held in town, Mr. Magriotis stated that "the Center could be a vehicle for privatization in southeastern Europe and a channel for Greek, European and US capital into those countries. " The President of the Athens Stock Exchange Spyros Kouniakis also stated that the Center had the ASE's support and plans existed to complete its operation through Balkan listings. Meanwhile, regarding the EU's budget, there was compete disagreement among the member-states.
