Greek government spokesman Evangelos Venizelos expressed revulsion over yesterday's attack in a central Sarajevo market.
Mr.Venizelos said that the greek government condemns with disgust this criminal act that killed a large number of civilians. He also expressed the hope that such cowardly and suspicious actions will not block the efforts for a peaceful solution to the crisis in Bosnia. The greek government spokesman concluded that everyone realizes now that the only solution for Bosnia can be a peaceful one.
Cypriot Foreign Minister Alekos Michailidis stated that with the conclusion of the negotiations for the accession of Cyprus into the EU a referendum will be held with the participation of all Cypriots.
