[01] A.Tsipras: âUnited in the Battleâ

SYN President Alexis Tsipras gave Thursday the customary press interview on the sidelines of the Thessaloniki International Fair, where he expressed his conviction that SYRIZA (Coalition of the Radical Left) would overcome the obstacles.

âWe are here and we are strong,â said Alexis Tsipras, outlining the role SYRIZA hopes to play in the forthcoming elections.

âWe are not pushing the hardships and our problems under the carpet, argued Tsipras, stressing that they would not do a favour to those who wish to see the party wiped out from the political map.

He then spoke of personal responsibilities and said he would not resign in case of a negative election result.

Shifting his attention to Alekos Alavanos, he noted that at the time of the battle, everyone are soldiers and appeared certain that everyone would contribute to the struggle, no matter their post.
