According to the WHO, the confirmed cases of the new flu in 29 countries number 4,379. A third person died from the flu on US soil and one more died in Costa Rica. China confirmed its first case, a 30-year-old man who had recently returned from the USA and is now in Tsengtou County. The man's temperature rose in the plane that transferred him from Peking to Tsengtou, while the authorities have located and put under quarantine most of their co-travelers. Meanwhile, Canada had announced earlier five more cases, while two more cases were reported in Colombia.

    Third Death in the USA

It is the third man to die of the swine flu. The man, 30, was living in Washington and was facing problems with his heart. In Canada 286 people are carrying the virus, while the Health authorities in the USA have reported 2,532 confirmed cases in 44 states.

Besides, the new flu killed a third person in the USA Sunday.

    Mexicans in Quarantine in China

At the same time, relations between Mexico and China remain tense, following Beijing's decision to put under quarantine 14 Mexicans, who are now there. The Mexican Foreign Ministry announced that most of the Mexicans knew about the quarantine before beginning their trip. However, they decided for personal, professional and family reasons to travel to China.

Earlier, the Mexican government had announced that it would not participate in the foodstuffs exhibition due to be held in Shanghai, due to the measures implemented by China for the epidemic of the new flu.
