Mr. Papathanasiou pointed out stressing that the role of the police must be clear. On his side Mr. Venizelos attacked the government stating: "to nourish and acidify technical, fearful and insecure reflexives is an extremely dangerous game" and accused the government of lacking "professionalism and mental and political efficiency in dealing with these issues. Mr. Venizelos called on the prime minister and the competent ministers to "be disciplines, to wisely and responsibly think and to tell the truth to the citizens, to traders of Athens city center and of Thessaloniki". Compensations Deputy minister of economy Athanasios Bouras will submit an amendment according to which businesses that were damaged by recent riots in Athens city center will receive compensations. Greek Chamber of Commerce (EVEA) president Mr. Costantinos Michas in his statements in NET 106,8 radio station underlined the government's intention to compensate businesses that were targeted by hooded and added that the government's measures will be assessed in action pointing out that the hooded culprits take orders form a co ordination and action center.
