Simitis: Fighting for PASOK's VictoryPoliticsThe meeting between George Papandreou and Costas Simitis was held in a very good climate at the Mr Papandreou's office in the Parliament Thursday afternoon. The meeting focused on developments in the economy, while Mr Simitis stressed that he is fighting and will be fighting for PASOK's victory. As per information, they did not discuss anything on roles and positions, while Mr Simitis will be invited as former prime minister at PASOK's Parliamentary Group. It is clear that Greece needs a change of course, stated the former PM after an hour meeting in Parliament on Thursday with the PASOK president. Mr Simitis stated that a very useful and extended discussion took place on developments in the global financial crisis and the crisis in Greece.
