In a press interview in Frankfurt, European Central Bank President,
Jean-Claude Trichet ruled out possibility of any EU member state not
being able to meet its loan obligations.Mr. Trichet characteristically
said: "Your hypothesis is completely groundless", adding "differences
in terms of international loans among eurozone member states are due to
the world financial crisis".
