Low temperature is the scenery in the US. A 55 years old woman who had
been missing for many days was traced alive. Snowfall created problems
in the airport of the country resulting in the cancellation of many
flights.
Snowfalls also sweep neighboring Turkey. In the eastern part of the
country temperature has dropped below zero. 3000 villages have been
evacuated while the thick snow has turned many roads into traps. Many
flights and ship routes have been cancelled.
In Chicago, more than 400 flights have been cancelled. Many flight
cancellations were also reported in Midway city. A woman, who was
missing for many days due to a severe snowfall, was found when no one
thought that she would still be alive. A special trained police dog
traced her. She had been covered by 58 centimeters of ice. Her face was
only in the surface. The woman is now recovering and her situation is
considered good.
