    Tertiary Education Professors are staging a 24-hour strike on Tuesday indicating their bereavement to the loss of 15-year-old Alexis. Kindergarten a primary schools will remain open. However, the teachers' Federation is staging a strike. The funeral of the 15-year-old will take place at Faliron cemetery at 15:00. At the same time, GSEE is contemplating as to whether Wednesday's strike should include a march or just a rally before the Parliament at 11:00, view supported by DAKE. SYRIZA (Coalition of the Radical Left) however, insists on holding a rally at Pedion tou Areos and marching to the Parliament. PAME (All Workers Militant Front) has announced that it will hold a rally in Omonia at 10:00 and then march to the Parliament.

    Moreover, all scheduled events for Tuesday by the Athens and Panteion Universities will be postponed.

    The Athens-Piraeus supra prefect has decided for the supra-prefecture will remain closed from 12:00-14:00, as well as four KEP (Citizen Service) which fall under its jurisdiction from 11:0014:30, as well as the Athens Prefecture.
