Injection of additional liquidity continues to boost the banking system
exit from the credit crisis. However, governments target is the money
be used for business loans to unlock real economy. Relevant calm
prevailed in major stock markets today with London, Paris and Frankfurt
stock markets closing with large gains. The Athens stock market index
closed at 2.124.80 point up by 0.35%. The chief of the European Central
Bank said that circumstances appear to be easing, however, all should
be on alert as the financial crisis would have a dramatic impact on
growth and employment at global level.
