Journalists Union of Athens Daily Newspapers (ESIEA) of the radio station in Heraklion prefecture, Athens continues its strikes targeting at the recall of the decision according to which Tassos Tataroglou member of the mixed council was fired. Strikes will continue until the decision is recalled.

[02] An Exhibition by Children-Collectors!

Children, Athens primary pupils and visitors of the Childrens Museum will present an exhibition called "Small Collectors" in "MELINA" Cultural Center of Athens Prefecture on May 23 until June 30. The Cultural Organization of Athens Prefecture and the Greek Childrens Museum are organizing the event. In this exhibition, children will present their personal collections. "Samll Collectors" is targeting at giving children space and time, making them understand the concept of "collection", adjusting them with the two basic functions of museums, the "collection" and "exhibition" of objects, and also making them inventing new ways of exhibiting their personal collections.

[03] Fire Breaks Out in Glyka Nera, Athens

The fire that broke out in a small forest area in the hills of Ymittos Mountain has been put under control. The fire started in Aigaio Pelagos St. and burnt a small area of pine forest. Fortunately, 30 firemen and 10 fire-extinguish vehicles put it out quickly.
