    Reactions triggered by Marfin vice president action to proceed to lawsuits against SYRIZA president Alexis Tsipras and STAR channel, asking for compensation of million of euros, continue. More specifically, Mr. Vgenopoulos claims that the accused offended the pride and honor of 52.000 people working in his company. Governmental deputy spokesman Mr. Evagelos Antonaros said that he is against of lawsuits underlying: "Journalism has the freedom to ecercise criticism for every event as well as for every action taken by politicians and other people who are involved in public life. The right of expressing your view freely can not be disputed. Freedom of expression of everyone, either journalists, politicians or other citizens is an element of Democracy. The issues you mentioned and everyone saw unfolding yesterday can not be tackled with such practices. We do not agree with lawsuit submitted against a political leader just because he expressed political criticism."

    PASOK members of the Commissions of Financial and Social Affairs send a letter to the President of Parliament asking for a meeting in order to invite for discussion Finance and Transport ministers Mr. Alogoskoufis and Hatzigakis OTE president Mr. Panayiotis Vourloumis and MIG vice president Mr. Andreas Vgenopoulos. In their letter they say that it is necessary to convene due to the latest developments in OTE which are driving a strategic for Greece Organization to private interests and foreign competitors with non transparent procedures".
