    Bloody Attack in Pakistan

    A suicide bomber blew himself up among mourners at a police funeral, killing at least 38 people in northwest Pakistan on Friday, doctors in Northern Pakistan reported. Mohammad Khan, the senior doctor at the hospital in Saidu Sharif in Swat, said 34 bodies had been received and more than 50 people were being treated for wounds after the attack. Ministry of Internal Affairs Official stated that the attack in Swat 50 people at least were killed by Pakistani security forces who have been fighting Islamist fighters for months. More than 500 people were present at the funeral of the officials who was one of the 3 policemen killed earlier on Friday when their van struck a roadside bomb in another region of North West Frontier Province, where Taliban and al Qaeda fighters are active.

    Israel denies that it threatened with holocaust Gaza Strip and holds responsible for the confusion it was created the misleading translation of the statement of the Israeli deputy minister of Defense made by international news agencies. About 30 Palestinians among them 6 children have been killed during the last two days by air attacks launched in the area.

    Network of Drug Dealing to be Unveiled

    Heraklion and Piraeus port authorities are about to unveil network of drug dealing in Heraklion after the arrest of the 27 years old woman from Bulgaria who was arrested for cocaine possession. More specifically, the 27 years old woman was arrested in Heraklion port for possessing1055 gram of cocaine which was found in her bag. The young woman had wrapped the cocaine in inner tube in order for the special trained dogs not to detect it. During her interrogation she said that she had made the same trip 7 times at least last year. She said that it was her decision to be a peddler but she is not addicted to drugs. Heraklion prosecutor ordered criminal proceeding against her for possession and trafficking of drug substances. She was given deadline before her testimony in the prosecutor.

    New Surgery for Mrs. Giannakou

    Former education minister Mrs. Giannakou is being submitted to second coronary surgery as the angiographic examination showed that there was thrombosis across the coronary artery. Doctors managed to prevent a possible heart attack. The patient is being hospitalized in the intense care unit of "Errikos Dynan" hospital. During the Hour of the Prime Minister taking place in Parliament today all political leaders expressed to Mrs. Giannakou their best wished for fast recovery.
