And while British Authorities sweep London searching for clues that will lead them to the perpetrators of the July 7 massacre, an Al Qaeda affiliate group posted a message on the Internet, assuming responsibility for the attacks, which resulted in over 50 dead and 700 injured. According to the French Press Agency, the Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades, an Al Qaeda division, claimed responsibility for the bloody attacks. "A group of mujahedeen from a division of the Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades piled blow after blow on the infidel capital, the British capital, leaving dead and injured," said the statement, the authenticity of which could not be verified. The same group claimed responsibility for the March 2004 Madrid train bombings and twin bombings in Istanbul in November 2003. It is the second group, following "Jihad in Europe," to have assumed responsibility for the explosions in the British tube and the bus.

In fact, the group even congratulated itself on "this laudable conquest" and warned that more attacks would follow. "The next days will be marked by the biggest demonstrations of jihad (holy war) against those who have declared war on Islam and Muslims. We will only calm down when security is a reality in the land of Islam and for Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine, " read the message, which was posted on an Islamist site.

Authorities in Florida are in a state of alert because they are expecting deadly hurricane Dennis to hit the city on Saturday. Earlier, it swept through the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba. In Haiti, 18 people lost their lives and extensive damages have been reported. Houses flooded, rivers overflowed, trees were plucked from the ground and bridges collapsed. In Cuba, schools remained closed on Friday and over 656,000 people were forced to abandon their homes. Many cities like Cienfuegos experienced extensive power failures. Dennis is the most ferocious hurricane of the Atlantic since 1851, when the first hurricanes were recorded.
