In Baghdad, U.S. army spokesman Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt said he would not discuss how the soldiers died.In Baquba, 65 km north of Baghdad, a 4th Infantry Division soldier was killed and two were wounded when a roadside bomb was detonated as their convoy drove past, according to spokesman Lieutenant Colonel William MacDonald. In an interview to Net radio, Pasok press representative, Chrisa Arapoglou underlined the majority of non-candidate party members and other Pasok forces will join together in order to bring victory to the governing party in the 2004 elections. With domestic investigations into the attacks zeroing in on the remote town of Bingol, where Turkish media say the bombers came from, Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said only an international effort could bring the plot leaders to justice.
